About us
About us Americans
Today, in this beautiful country of ours, there is imbalance and dissonance. We no longer resemble a nation united across common values, a shared history, or compatible visions of the future.
This imbalance and dissonance are created by voids across the Seven Pillars, but are made worse by three key voids: Ritual, Communion,* and Ethics.
*Our connections to one another and to nature.
This endeavor is neither trivial nor a “thought experiment”. It represents an area ripe for exploration and discovery. The voids left by both religious and secular societies negatively impact our sense of meaning and being. They directly impact our individual and collective ability to maximize joy. This alone is justification that the Seven Pillars quest is a worthy endeavor, but see below for the brief argument or click here for the full story. Decide for yourself. (Link is pending final release of the full story.)
Even if such meaning cannot be described as absolute.
Enough time has passed and enough deaths have occurred in their cause yet nothing divine has come to pass and no moral order assembled…meanwhile, our largest nations appear ill-equipped to address today’s existential issues.
Science and reason can only address a part of our human condition.
Humanity would benefit from a synthesis of spiritually-useful rituals with today’s scientific methods.
But we want, need, and deserve more.
In light of our reality there is no time like the present to begin this process. We need to recapture the hearts and minds of our fellow humans, our fellow Americans. It’s time to swing for the fences.
The Seven Pillars is not about any individual or group of individuals, it’s about all of us, including the Earth’s ecosystem without which we do not exist.
The Seven Pillars
The Seven Pillars are listed below in their “Maslow-like” order. These will be our focus areas, including the 25 First Principles that fall across them. See Homepage.
- Physical
- Mental
- Social
- Artistic
- Spiritual
- Philosophical
- Scientific
The Seven Pillars represent the basic modes in which humans interact with the Universe. The Pillars have a Maslow-hierarchy-like structure and dynamic. Each mode of interaction is built upon the prior mode or modes where access to one mode requires sufficient understanding of the prior mode(s).
The 25 First Principles (see Homepage) are fundamental human dynamics or processes and bodies of knowledge. These dynamics are fundamental because they represent vectors of human truths. Within the context of the Seven Pillars quest, these human truths serve as First Principles for the “real game of life” we are playing and therefore are the focus of our attention.
Our Partners

The Players
The objective for players is to participate in the on-line and in-real-life games, and to level-up along the way.
Players can level up by playing the on-line games, committing to shared values, and participating in the planning for the in-real-life community building games. Only players that level up to Sustainer and Partner levels will be invited to participate in-real-life.
During the on-line games, there will be opportunities to engage in additional off-line events based on important cyclical timelines and human-milestone-driven achievements. The goal will be to explore our inner spirits and to support personal growth and balance.
All registered players will be given an opportunity to create their own characters for the Quest and to tell their characters’ origin stories.
Player or not, one may also donate money to help expedite this journey. Click here to see how we would put your money to use.

We all are part of a community greater than ourselves.
We all benefit from humor; it’s like medicine, when applied appropriately.
We all are temporarily abled, if we’re lucky, so plan to live like an elder.
We all are individuals, don’t we know it, with unique perspectives.
We all desire to be treated fairly and without undue judgment.
We all must take responsibility for our actions.
We all are stewards of Earth’s finite ecosystem for which our survival depends.
