About us

About all of us

The purpose of the Pillars is to spark, through virtual and real-world engagement, a new way of life that maximizes the joy of life.

It proposes to do this by helping to fill key voids left empty by religious and secular societies. By seeking the best from these traditions and from all of us.

This endeavor is neither trivial nor a “thought experiment”. It represents an area ripe for exploration and discovery. The voids left by both religious and secular societies negatively impact our sense of meaning and being. They directly impact our individual and collective ability to maximize joy. This alone is justification that the Pillars is a worthy endeavor; however, below is the full argument. Decide yourself.

Enough time has passed, and enough deaths have occurred in their cause, yet nothing divine has come to pass and our nations appear ill-equipped to address today’s existential issues.

Even if such meaning cannot be described as absolute.
Science can only address a part of the human condition.
Humanity would benefit from a synthesis of “best practice” religious and cultural rituals with the scientific method and aspects of secular culture

In light of our reality, especially for those of us lucky to live in democratic societies, there is no time like the present to begin this process. We need to recapture the hearts and minds of our fellow humans.

The Pillars is not about any individual or group of individuals, it is about all of us, including the Earth’s ecosystem, without which we do not exist.

The Seven Pillars

The seven Pillars are listed below in their “Maslow” order. These will be our focus areas along with special data gathering efforts and other special projects.

Our Mission
Our mission is to make sure all young people and children get all the support they need, when they need it, no matter what it is.
Whether it is a reassuring conversation, financial help, education, professional training, or simply the assurance that they are not alone, we will make sure that everyone gets support that meets them where they’re at as quickly as possible.
Our Vision
We want to build a world where no child or youth feels alone and gets every possible help they need as soon as possible.

The seven Pillars represent the basic modes in which humans interact with the universe. Listed within each Pillar (see Homepage) are their First Principles or fundamental human dynamics (processes and bodies of knowledge). These dynamics are fundamental because they represent vectors of human truths. Within the paradigm of the seven Pillars, these human truths serve as First Principles for the “real game of life” we are playing and therefore are the focus of our attention.

Our Partners

The Players

In an upcoming Phase, the Pillars will incorporate player capabilities. The goal of each player is to level up.

Players can level up by playing the on-line games, committing to shared values, and participating in off-line planning. Only then will players be invited to play the off-line games.

During the on-line games, there will be opportunities to engage in additional off-line events based on important cyclical timelines and human-milestone-driven achievements. The goal will be to explore our inner spirits and to support personal growth and balance.

All registered players will be given an opportunity to create their own Pillars characters and to tell their characters’ origin stories.

Player or not, one may also donate money to help expedite this journey. Click here to see how we would put your money to use.
